As President of the World Federation of Acrobatic Dance and Dance Sports (WFADS), headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland—the proud home of the International Olympic Committee—it is my great honor and privilege to express full support for the decision to grant the United Arab Emirates the right to host the World Championship in Breaking, two World Championships in Acrobatic Rock ’n’ Roll and Acro-Swing, as well as the World Championship and two World Cup tournaments in Dance Sport. These prestigious events, to be held across the UAE from 13–21 December 2025, will coincide with the historic inauguration of the UAE Federation of Acrobatic Dance and Dance Sports (UFADS). This milestone marks a new chapter in the growth of our Federation and reflects our shared vision of ambition, excellence, and global leadership in sport and culture.
Under the wise and inspiring leadership of the United Arab Emirates, the nation has become a vibrant hub of cultural exchange, innovation, and sporting achievement. Its unwavering commitment to empowering youth, embracing diversity, and fostering international cooperation makes it the ideal home for this new era in WFADS’s journey. By hosting four World Championships and two World Cups in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the UAE will not only highlight its world-class infrastructure and renowned hospitality but also set new global standards of organizational excellence and cultural celebration.
Equally significant is the establishment of the UAE Federation of Acrobatic Dance and Dance Sports, which will be officially inaugurated during these landmark events. Guided by the vision and expertise of world-class champions and the leadership of distinguished sports administrators, the Federation will embody the highest standards of professionalism and governance. Under my patronage, it will serve as a driving force for nurturing new talent, promoting dance sports internationally, and reinforcing the UAE’s role as a global center of innovation, culture, and sporting excellence.
Together, we will ensure that the 2025 WFADS World Championships and World Cups, along with the historic inauguration of the UAE Federation, are remembered not only as premier sporting events but also as a celebration of unity, creativity, youth empowerment, and international cooperation. This is the legacy we are determined to build, and I am confident that with the UAE as our partner and host, it will be realized with great success.
